Colorado turns 150 on August 1, 2026, and DENVER BAZAAR is throwing the city’s birthday party. In partnership with the Downtown Denver Partnership, the Highland Bridge Bazaar transforms Commons Park and the Highland Bridge connection into a one-day celebration of everything Colorado.
Expect more than 150 local makers, 150 themed experiences including a 150-foot community mural, a 150-person yoga class, a scavenger hunt, dance-offs, and free sample hours, plus full bar programs and live music. Organizers expect 8,000 to 12,000 attendees. Dog friendly, free to attend.
With the State Capitol’s Colorado Day ceremony wrapping by early afternoon and Civic Center Park closed for construction, this is downtown Denver’s celebration of the sesquicentennial itself. A Gum Pop Presents production.
