This is the strongest of Swallow Hill’s September small-room bills. Antje Duvekot is a German-born, Boston-based songwriter with a long folk-circuit resume, and Seth Glier is a Grammy-nominated singer and multi-instrumentalist. Either could carry the night alone.
Pairing them in the Tuft rather than the big hall is the sort of booking that reads as a bargain a year later, when one of them is playing a room three times the size. The Tuft holds a listening-room audience, which is the format both acts are built for.
