DENVERDROP

Privacy policy

Last updated October 12, 2026.

DenverDrop is a guide to events in and around Denver. We collect very little: an email address if you sign up for the weekly email, what you type if you send us an event or a venue, and a count of visits.

What we collect

The weekly email. If you sign up, we keep your email address and a note of which form you used.

Events and venues you send us. We keep what you type into the form: the details of the event or venue, the link, your name if you give one, and your email address. We also record the IP address and time of the submission, which is how we keep spam out. All of it is stored with our email service, MailerLite.

Visits. The site is set up to count page views and measure how fast pages load, using Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Neither one uses cookies or identifies you. The companies that host and deliver the site, Vercel and Cloudflare, handle the technical details any website needs to answer a request, such as your IP address and browser type, and keep short-term logs of them.

The map. The map page loads its map tiles from CARTO and its map software from cdnjs. Like any site your browser talks to, those two receive your IP address when the map loads.

Cookies

DenverDrop does not set cookies. Your browser does remember, for one visit, that it has already shown you the email signup box. That note stays on your device and is gone when you close the tab.

What we use it for

To send the weekly email to people who asked for it. To review the events and venues you send, publish the ones that clear the bar, and write back to you about them. To keep the site running and learn which pages are useful.

Sending us an event does not put you on the list for the weekly email. We keep your address so we can reply about that submission.

We do not sell personal information.

Who else handles it

MailerLite stores our email list, sends the weekly email, and holds the events and venues people send us. Like most email services, it records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. Vercel hosts the site and Cloudflare sits in front of it. Each of them handles this information for us under its own privacy terms. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Links to other sites

Event pages link out to ticket sellers, venues, and organizers. What those sites collect is up to them.

Your choices

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email [email protected] and we will take care of it.

Children

DenverDrop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
