Aurelio Voltaire has spent decades as a fixture of the goth underground, writing darkly funny songs that sit somewhere between sea shanty, cabaret, and horror soundtrack. His September 18 date at The Crypt, a small Colfax-adjacent goth bar, is exactly the room the material is written for.
The show is part of his Between the Devil and the Demonatrix tour. Voltaire's live sets pair the songs with the storytelling and stagecraft that built his following well beyond Denver.
