Avenged Sevenfold spent two decades pushing modern metal toward the arena, and the Huntington Beach band headlines Ball Arena on August 23, 2026 with pop-punk mainstays Good Charlotte opening, a bill that spans the heavy and the radio-friendly sides of the 2000s.
Ball Arena seats about 18,000 for concerts, with the floor sold as reserved seating or a standing pit depending on the configuration. The 6 p.m. start leaves room for the full opening set.
The arena sits beside Union Station and the light rail, so transit beats the event-rate garages. Doors open about 90 minutes early for the metal detectors and the merch line.
