A chef who earned a Michelin star within three months of opening his own restaurant is cooking a one-night dinner in an Arvada distillery, and it sold out before most of Denver heard about it. Justin Fulton, the Colorado native behind Margot and a veteran of the three-Michelin-starred Daniel in New York, leads the fall barrel dinner on October 29.
The three-course, family-style meal is built around The Control, a 7-year straight bourbon finished in a tawny port cask. Dinner runs 6 to 10:30 PM at Confluence Spirits, 5525 W 56th Ave in Arvada, the distillery behind the label.

The night closes with a private whiskey tasting led by Jake Norris, a pioneer of Colorado craft distilling, where guests can take home the featured pours. Every seat for the $250 dinner is gone; future releases and dinners are announced on the organizer's own ticketing page.
