Belmar's plaza programming runs mostly to food festivals, dog days, and holiday lights. The Fitness Expo is the one Saturday morning the shopping district turns its plaza into an outdoor gym floor, with the classes open to anyone who shows up and nothing to buy at the door.
Belmar lists free fitness classes, demos, wellness stations, and giveaways across the two and a half hours. The workout series runs on a schedule, and the district asks anyone who wants to take part to arrive by 9:45 AM to complete waivers before it starts.
