Black Moth Super Rainbow trade in vocoder-fogged psych-pop that has a cult following far larger than their venue size suggests, which is exactly why a Gothic show is worth the trip south. The Friday, July 24 date is the kind of subculture pick a fan texts a friend the minute it goes on sale.
The Gothic in Englewood is a roughly 1,100-capacity room on South Broadway, intimate enough that the band's wall of synths fills it. This is the same weekend as the band's regional run, so resale can tighten.
