Blucifer's First Rodeo debuts July 23-26, 2026, as an artist-run, volunteer-organized music festival spread across the South Broadway corridor in Denver's Baker neighborhood. Over 200 performers are scheduled across venues including hi-dive, HQ, Bar 404, The L, and Skylark Lounge, with all-ages programming at D3 Arts and Manos Sagrados on opening night.
The festival was founded by Denver musicians, photographers, and poets following Underground Music Showcase's departure from South Broadway to RiNo. It takes its name from Blue Mustang, the Luis Jimenez sculpture at Denver International Airport known locally as Blucifer. All-access wristbands for all four days are $69 through bluciferfest.com.
The festival runs the same weekend as Underground Music Showcase (July 24-26 in RiNo), giving attendees two simultaneous multi-venue options across the city.
