A recording studio throwing a festival on its own lot is a different proposition from a venue show. Circle Sound runs eight hours of Colorado bands on West 7th Place in Lakewood, next to Holbrook Park, and you supply the chair and the cooler.
The bill is WITHANEFF, Aaron Mitchell with a full band, Jesh Yancey and the High Hopes, STARCRUSHER, and Johnny Hickman and Crazy Sloth. Hickman is the longtime guitarist of Cracker. Music runs 2 to 10 PM on Saturday, September 12, which is long enough that the day changes character twice.
