Colorado became a state on August 1, 1876, and turns 150 on Colorado Day, August 1, 2026. Denver BAZAAR is throwing the city's birthday party in Commons Park, an official America 250 | Colorado 150 event and downtown Denver's celebration of the sesquicentennial itself.
Expect 150 local makers, a main stage of Colorado music, cultural performances, and 150 themed experiences including a 150-foot community mural, a 150-person yoga class, a scavenger hunt, and free sample hours, plus full bar programs. Dog friendly, free to attend, noon to 6 PM.
