corto.alto is the project of Scottish multi-instrumentalist Liam Shortall, a fixture of the new Glasgow jazz scene that has drawn comparisons to the London wave around Sons of Kemet. A Denver stop at Cervantes is a chance to catch it in a room built for this kind of horn-forward set.
The show is 8 PM on July 7 at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, 2637 Welton Street in Five Points, with +Ultra opening. General admission.
Age policy is on the venue page; Cervantes shows are usually 16 and up.
