Every other pop culture convention in this metro is built for families, and Daku Con is the one that is not. The organizers restrict it to attendees 18 and over and describe it as Denver's 18+ geek convention, which shifts the programming toward late-night panels, adult-oriented tabletop and gaming rooms, and an anime and comics crowd that is past the age of chaperones.
It runs three days, Friday Nov. 13 through Sunday Nov. 15, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center at 13200 E. 14th Place in Aurora, near the Anschutz medical campus. A hotel convention means the programming, the dealer room, and the after-hours activity all sit under one roof, so attendees are not moving between venues between panels.

Tickets are sold through Eventbrite rather than at a box office. Everyone entering needs government-issued photo ID to prove age at badge pickup, and the venue is a hotel conference center with on-site parking, which makes it one of the easier metro conventions to drive to.
