The Friendship Powwow is one of Denver's longest-running Native cultural gatherings, and the Denver Art Museum's 37th edition brings intertribal dancers, drum groups, and Native artists together for a free day downtown.
Grand entries set the day's rhythm, with dance competitions, a host drum, and Indigenous makers selling work. Admission to the powwow grounds is free; museum galleries keep regular hours.
