Denver has never had a porch festival, and the first one arrives already at scale. 193 local artists will play 84 front porches across Baker in a single afternoon, chosen from more than 340 bands that applied. That application ratio is the real signal here: a debut run by neighbors pulled in three and a half times the acts it could book.

It is organized entirely by Baker residents as volunteers, in partnership with the East 7th Arts nonprofit, following the porch-festival model that has spread city to city over the last decade. Dailey Park anchors the day with food trucks and a market while the music spreads across the surrounding blocks. The festival runs on city sidewalks, and organizers say most of it is accessible for people with mobility considerations.

Noon to 7 PM, rain or shine, free with no tickets. Free street parking in Baker is very limited and organizers are strongly encouraging rideshare; they are also coordinating free bike parking. The porch map and set times post on the festival site.
