A lion cub birthday is one of the zoo’s bigger animal-party days, with keepers building special enrichment for the cubs and talking through how the pride is doing. It is a good reason to time a summer zoo trip.
It runs August 13, 2026 with general zoo admission. Check denverzoo.org for the birthday-enrichment schedule.
