Empire of the Sun pairs synth-pop hits with one of the most elaborate costume-and-light productions touring, and Red Rocks gives that visual show a natural stone backdrop few rooms can rival. The Australian duo's Denver appearances are infrequent, which adds to the pull.
The 7:30 p.m. start lets the full production play out after dark. The venue is cashless and the bag policy is enforced, so check size limits before you leave home.
