December is when the metro’s outdoor markets are gone and the indoor ones get crowded and expensive. This one is neither. Stanley Marketplace puts 45 booths of Colorado makers inside the old Stanley Aviation factory on Friday, December 4, 6 to 9 PM, and charges nothing at the door.
The booth mix runs to original artwork, jewelry, ceramics, woodwork and textiles, and the makers are standing behind their own tables, so the December version is the practical one for anyone buying gifts rather than browsing. The market is booked by Ian Brown at CR38TED, who runs the series month to month. Marketplace restaurants and bars stay open through the whole thing.
