The most Denver way to spend the Fourth might be a free concert from a band that is actually from here, and Flobots, the Denver group behind 'Handlebars,' headline Levitt Pavilion's holiday bill at no charge.
Espiaille opens. Levitt's lawn at Ruby Hill Park is general admission and free with an online reservation, and the nonprofit pavilion programs more than 40 free shows a summer. Music starts around 6 p.m.
Free tickets are reserved online ahead of time and the lawn fills for holiday dates, so reserve early and bring a blanket. Lot and street parking surround Ruby Hill, and the lawn opens before the music.
