Wax Trax Records turning South Broadway and Highland into a three-day underground music festival is reason enough for Denver heads to clear the last weekend of August. The bill leans deep: Silkworm play their first Denver show in 25 years and Kowloon Walled City make their Denver debut.
The festival spreads across three rooms from August 28 to 30, 2026: Hi-Dive and Skylark Lounge on the South Broadway strip and the Bug Theatre over in Highland. Westword named it among the best festivals of the year.
