Before it was a garden, the site at York Street held unmarked graves people called "The Boneyard," and Denver Botanic Gardens built this self-guided, after-dark walk around that real history rather than invented scares.
Remaining 2026 dates are Oct 20 (5:30-10:30 PM) and Oct 28-31 (Oct 28-30 run 4:30-10:30 PM, Oct 31 ends at 9:15 PM); it's self-guided, runs about 90 minutes, with new stories starting at storytelling stations every 15 minutes and access to the main floor of the historic Waring House.
