The Botanic Gardens' Halloween walk is the one where the pumpkins are carved by professionals and the garden itself does the haunting. Glow at the Gardens sends a one-way path through illuminated landscapes with musicians, dancers, and scores of jack-o'-lanterns along the York Street grounds.
It runs eight nights, October 15-18 and 21-24, 5:30 to 9 PM. Tickets are timed, advance-only, and not sold onsite, and the closer-to-Halloween dates sell out first. Pricing posts on the Gardens' site.
