Gregory Porter at Denver Botanic Gardens

- UMB Amphitheater, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver
Gregory Porter's deep baritone is a jazz-and-soul instrument built for an intimate, attentive room, and the garden amphitheater is one of the best in the country for hearing a voice like his unhurried. The setting turns the show into an evening rather than a concert.
Doors lead to a 6:30 p.m. start. The seated, listening-room atmosphere here differs from a rock show, so plan for a calmer, earlier night.
