Harry Tuft founded the Denver Folklore Center in 1962, and Swallow Hill itself grew out of it. The organization throws its founder a 90th birthday concert on August 30 that doubles as a release show for a new record, which at 90 is its own kind of headline.
Expect the extended family of Denver's folk scene on and off the stage. Tickets are through Swallow Hill's site; this is the definition of a show where the room matters more than the setlist.
