The Heart Collectors were finalists for Album of the Year at the 2025 International Folk Music Awards, which is a bigger credit than the room they are playing. They land in Swallow Hill’s Tuft Theatre on September 4, the smaller of the folk institution’s two listening halls.
The band works a Celtic seam through 60s and 70s Americana: ballads, jigs, and what they call epic folk, built over eight years of touring. The Tuft is the right size for it, close quarters and a quiet audience with no bar chatter competing.
