Two brothers, two guitars, no vocals, and the rooms keep getting bigger. Hermanos Gutierrez write cinematic desert instrumentals that grew a word-of-mouth following into theater-scale touring, and the Los Ojos del Condor tour reaches Mission Ballroom on October 3.
An all-instrumental set in a room this size works because the audience treats it as a listening show rather than a party. Much of the crossover attention traces to their records with Dan Auerbach at Easy Eye Sound.
