Itchy-O Hallowmass: Mayat Ōm, Brief Creatures

Itchy-O has spent more than a decade turning Denver Halloween into large-scale performance art, and Hallowmass is the marching-band-meets-noise-cult troupe's signature show, pairing live music with a participatory environment built around memory, offering and collective witness.

This year's edition is titled Mayat Ōm: Brief Creatures, turning toward grief, remembrance and what the group calls 'the improbable fact of existence itself.' The show runs two nights, October 30 and 31, at Summit Music Hall, 1902 Blake Street, with doors at 7 PM and the show starting at 8 PM both nights.
