Joe Bonamassa is among the most prolific blues-rock guitarists working, and his Red Rocks shows are guitar clinics staged in the genre's best-sounding outdoor room. The night is a single long set rather than a multi-act bill, so the music starts and stays with him.
Bonamassa draws a seated, attentive crowd, and his shows tend to start on time. The 7 p.m. opening puts the first set under fading daylight.
