The north metro does not get a holiday-season musical at this scale anywhere else, and the Arvada Center is handing the slot to the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice show most people first met in a school auditorium. It runs six weeks on the Main Stage, straight through the holidays, closing January 3.
Performances are Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 7 PM, with 1 PM matinees Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus select Tuesday evenings and Friday matinees. Tickets start at $62, previews start at $45, and processing fees are added on top. The center recommends the show for ages 6 and up and takes 35 percent off tickets for children 6 to 12.
