Julia Jacklin, the Australian songwriter known for plainspoken, emotionally direct records like Pre Pleasure, plays the Gothic on Halloween night, a date that gives an otherwise straightforward tour stop a bit of occasion.
It's a one-night, 16-and-over show, the kind of mid-size dated booking that fills the gap between arena tours and club nights for Denver-area indie fans.
