Lilly Hiatt writes the kind of guitar-driven Americana that rewards a small room, and the Skylark on South Broadway is exactly that: an upstairs bar stage where the audience is close enough to read the lyrics off the page. The Nashville songwriter, daughter of John Hiatt, has built her own critical standing across five albums.
