The far south metro often gets overlooked on the Fourth, so Lone Tree's celebration at Prairie Sky Park gives Douglas County residents a real headliner close to home. Singer-songwriter Sophia Scott leads the evening bill.
A morning Family Fun Ride starts the day at 9 AM, the evening party opens at 6 PM, and fireworks go up at 9:30 PM on July 4. Admission is free, though some daytime activities require an advance reservation.
Prairie Sky Park is one of Lone Tree's newer gathering spaces. Check the city site for which daytime pieces need a reservation before you head over.
