Attendees are the judges, not spectators, at Milagro Tequila's margarita competition, where Denver bars and restaurants face off for a crowd vote on their own house margarita inside a 20,000-square-foot Five Points event hall.
The Saturday event runs 10 AM to 5 PM at Number Thirty Eight, 3560 Chestnut Place. General Admission enters at 2 PM, while VIP and a 50-ticket Ultra VIP tier get in earlier with shorter lines. Every ticket includes a sampling card for ten 3.5 oz margaritas, a voting chip and at least one raffle entry for a trip to Mexico; the day also runs a DJ, food trucks and a beer garden. It is 21+.
