Denver is trying to seat thousands of strangers at one long table for a free dinner. The Mile Long Table returns to the National Western Center on August 1, 2026 as the centerpiece of the state's 150th anniversary.
Gates open at 5 PM with dinner served at 6 PM, followed by live music, birthday cake and art. Organizers fell short of the full 5,280 seats at the inaugural run but still fed thousands, and the 2026 table is built to go bigger.
