Monster's Ball ft. Beasts of No Nation
- When
- Sat, Oct 31 · 5:30 PM
- Where
- Spangalang Brewery, Denver
- Price
- $10
Spangalang Brewery's Halloween night belongs to Beasts of No Nation, the Denver Afro-funk collective fronted by Avery Jacob that has become a regular on the taproom's live calendar. A $10 cover for a full band set is the cheapest live Halloween in the city core this year.
The Monster's Ball pairs that set with a costume contest, with judging run between sets rather than at a single cutoff. The brewery sits on Welton Street in the middle of Five Points, within a few blocks of the jazz-corridor rooms the band came up playing.

Doors are at 5:30 PM, early for a Halloween show, which makes this one a first stop rather than a whole night. Tickets are sold in advance through Eventbrite and the taproom is a single room, so arriving near doors is the safer plan if you want a spot near the band.
