Nathaniel Rateliff built his career in Denver bars before The Night Sweats filled arenas, and his Red Rocks date on August 18 pairs that hometown soul with the full Colorado Symphony, an arrangement he has turned into a near-annual event.
The orchestra reworks his catalog for the amphitheatre’s natural acoustics, a format that sells strongly to locals who claim him as their own.
Seating is general on the stone benches; arrive before the after-dark set and pack a warm layer for the 6,450-foot altitude.
