The Park Hill parade is Denver's largest neighborhood Independence Day march, a homemade, decades-old tradition where residents, bikes, and floats fill 23rd Avenue rather than any corporate procession. Its scale and grassroots character are exactly what set it apart from a typical small-town parade.
The route runs along 23rd Avenue through Park Hill and is free to watch from the curb. Streets close to traffic, so walk or bike in, and bring chairs and water for a midday July event.
