Poison Girl Friend, the long-running Japanese shoegaze and dream-pop project fronted by Kyoko Hyodo, brings a cult catalog to a genre that Denver rarely sees touring live: US dates from this corner of the original early-1990s shoegaze scene are scarce, which is what makes a stop at a 1,100-cap room like Gothic Theatre notable.
