Denver's Thanksgiving racing calendar gets an earlier start this year with the Pumpkin Pie 5K/10K, a City Park road race that trades the usual turkey-day medal for a slice of pie at the finish line. Colorado Runner Events stages both distances from the Pavilion at City Park on Saturday, November 21, with race-day pricing kicking in that morning.
Both the 5K and 10K start together at 9 AM from 2001 Steele St, with the course looping through the park's 330 acres past the lake. Current registration is $36 for the 5K and $46 for the 10K, rising to $40 and $50 on race day; runners 17 and under get $5 off either distance.
