Rawayana just became the first Venezuelan act to win a Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, and the Caracas band's reggae-funk-salsa hybrid gives the Fillmore's usual rock-and-EDM calendar a genuine Latin-alternative night.
Formed in Caracas in 2007, the band blends reggae, psychedelic rock, funk and salsa into a style members call "trippy pop." Their album "Quien Trae Las Cornetas" won the 2025 Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, and the group has continued performing internationally amid political upheaval in Venezuela.
