Few acts fit Red Rocks like Santana, whose Latin rock has been a festival and arena staple since Woodstock, and Carlos Santana returns to the foothills amphitheater on August 24.
The set leans on a songbook that runs from 'Black Magic Woman' to the Supernatural era. Red Rocks holds about 9,500 between the sandstone monoliths, with a 7 p.m. show time.
Red Rocks parking fills early and the upper south lot leaves a long downhill walk to the seats. The venue sits near 6,400 feet, so carry water and bring a layer for after the sun drops.
