South Broadway Halloween Parade

South Broadway shuts down for its ninth Halloween parade on October 17, a costume procession that press estimates put at around 30,000 spectators along the route.

The parade runs 6 to 9 PM along the 1.2-mile stretch of Broadway between 5th and Virginia avenues, organized by South Broadway Denver, the business district behind the annual event. Spots in the float lineup sold out well ahead of the date, a sign of how established the parade has become in its ninth year.

Watching is free. With a crowd this size, claim curb space along Broadway early and expect rolling street closures through the parade window.
