- Buchanan Park, Evergreen
Summerfest is Evergreen's annual mountain-town arts festival, two days of handmade crafts, live music, and food at Buchanan Park just up the hill from Denver. It is a genuine worth-the-trip outing: a real small-town festival close enough for a day, with cooler mountain air as a bonus.
The festival runs July 18 and 19. Buchanan Park has limited on-site parking, so expect a shuttle or overflow lots on a busy weekend; check the chamber listing for the parking plan before you drive up.
