When two members of Los Lobos sit in with a local band, that is the kind of one-night pairing worth flagging. Denver guitarist Taylor Scott brings David Hidalgo and Steve Berlin, the multi-instrumentalist core of the Grammy-winning East L.A. group, to Cervantes for a single show.
The set starts at 8 PM on June 25 at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, the former jazz hall at 2637 Welton Street in Five Points. Guest sit-ins like this rarely repeat, so it is a same-night call.
The room is general admission. Check the venue page for the age policy, which is usually 16 and up at Cervantes.
