The Big Eat is the night the people who actually run Denver's independent restaurants throw a party for the city, and the proceeds go back to the nonprofit that supports them, EatDenver. That makes it a more direct way to back local kitchens than another delivery order.
The event runs 6 to 9 PM on July 23 at the Galleria, the outdoor walkway at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, with unlimited bites and pours from roughly 80 local restaurants and beverage makers plus live music. It is a 21-and-over event.
General admission tickets run $122.25, which is the all-in cost for unlimited tasting. Wear comfortable shoes, the format is walk-and-graze across the complex rather than a seated dinner.
