The Obsessed is Scott Wino Weinrich's band, one of the foundational acts of American doom metal, and seeing them in a 285-capacity room is the whole pitch: this is music built for volume in a space where you feel it in the floor. The Hi-Dive on South Broadway is that room.
The show is September 9 at the Hi-Dive, 7 South Broadway in the Baker district. Most Hi-Dive shows are 21 and up.
With 285 capacity, a name like this can sell out, so buy through the venue calendar rather than counting on the door.
