Fly fishing takes over a baseball stadium for an afternoon when TroutFest Colorado runs at Coors Field on June 27, a free event that puts casting lanes and conservation booths on the concourse of a major-league ballpark.
Expect fly-casting clinics, Colorado conservation groups, gear makers, stadium tours and live music across the afternoon, aimed at both seasoned anglers and first-timers.
Admission is free and the event runs noon to 5 p.m. Use the ballpark’s LoDo light-rail and bus connections rather than paying game-day parking rates.
