- Mission Ballroom, Denver
Forty years on, Violent Femmes still make Blister in the Sun and Add It Up feel like the start of a party, and the acoustic-bass-and-snare setup translates loud in a room like Mission Ballroom. The catalog crosses generations, so the floor tends to mix people who bought the debut on cassette with their kids.
General admission floor with tiered side seating. The RiNo room has paid lots; rideshare is the easy exit.
