Westminster runs one of the north metro's bigger municipal Fourth of July shows, and City Park anchors a full afternoon-into-night program rather than fireworks alone. Live bands carry the day, with Kentucky Straight at 4 PM and That Eighties Band at 7 PM before the 20-minute fireworks display at 9:15 PM.
Parking is limited, so the city runs free shuttles from City Hall, The MAC, West View Recreation Center and College Hill Library. Food is on site, and the earlier Uncle Sam Splash Bash runs at Countryside Pool from 12:30 to 3 PM.
