Prost Brewing opened a Wheat Ridge location at Clear Creek Crossing this year, and the Colorado Brewery Running Series is christening it with the longest race on its Colorado calendar. The course is an out and back on the Clear Creek Trail, 2.5 miles west and then east to the turnaround, with roughly 700 feet of elevation change and no street crossings to wait at.
The series has been staging races at Colorado breweries since 2016 and usually deals in short untimed fun runs. This one is a real 13.1 with a 5k attached, so the field splits between people training for something and people who came for the party at the finish.
